Words your Child Should KNOW | RPC Childcare

Every year parents ask us at daycare what their child should know in school.

Its a great question.

So I thought I would write a few posts about resources that may be helpful for you as parents.

This post however is about WORDS.

Do you know what "WORDS" your child should know by the time they reach each grade all the way through to grade 6 ?

Well below is a link to a very helpful PDF.

It lists out WORDS your child should know for each of the grades.

Have a look at it and read it over.
You can even print it out and make them flash cards for your child to pracitise their memory as well as their spelling.

The key is to make it a consistent time of learning for a short amount of time.
Don't be afraid of making it fun with some incentives and rewards !
